Anti Atlas
Feb – Jun

The Sirwa looks like a plateau with steep banks from which arises a set of domes and volcanic peaks caught between the often snow-capped High Atlas at that time and the arid slopes of the Anti Atlas. In summer these upland pastures are used to Ouazguit Berbers, winter taking refuge in villages on the steep sides of the plateau. It’s in the south that the villages are characteristics with their agadirs, kinds of fortified granaries where each during a raiding party was protecting his property and his life. Today these are maintained and kept by the elders!
