On arrival at Merzouga you will climb aboard your camel and trek for 1.5 hours into the desert through the sand dunes and watch the sun set over the Erg Chebbi Dunes with spectacular views. You will be staying in an authentic Desert Camp with dormitory rooms or you can sleep out under the stars.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After finding you at your riad/hotel in Marrakesh, pick up by your experienced and knowledgeable driver and start your adventure, from Marrakech to Dades valley, across the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m high) in the High Atlas Mountains. From Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages along the way. The first visit will be made to Kasbah Ait benhadou, Human heritage site famous for movies making : Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, kingdom of heaven… and its typical Kasbah, lunch near the site in a typical restaurant,. Afterwards, you go further south to Ouarzazate, The gate to Sahara, visit of cinema studios, and Kasbah Taourirt, drive east wards to the green Dades valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura palm grove. Dinner and overnight in Dades valley. (Travel distance: 340 Km)

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga

After a large Moroccan breakfast at your hotel, checking out  Dades valley and take the road to Tighir village and stopping for morning walk accros Todgha gorges where the cliffs are as high as 600m and only 10m wide . We drive to Tinjedad to have lunch and visit Touroug Palm Plantations reaching Erfoud town for a visit of a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, The Dunes of Merzouga. We now switch from our 4×4 to camels, where you’ll be taken on a camel ride on the desert to enjoy the sunset on the dunes and overnight on a desert Camp. Diner sleeping in bivouac on nomad Berber tents in the middle of the dunes of Merzouga. (Travel distance: 240 Km)

Day 3:Merzouga – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Early in the morning departure to enjoy sunrise from the dunes of Erg chebbi at 50 km away of Algeria, breakfast in the camp and camel ride back or walk with the caravan to the hotel where the 4×4 are parked. We drive afterwards across acacia tree savanas along the black stone desert, toilet and drinks break in Alnifa small Saharan town in southeast of Morocco, drive to Draa valley, the longest and most preserved palm valleys of Morocco, famous for being the jewishcenter for 1000 of years we reach Agdez dates market used to be the caravan Carrefour for nomadic berber tribes and, then we head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains, continue to Marrakech by Tizi n Tichka pass. Overnight in Marrakech after a long day drive. (Travel distance: 550 Km)
