Six days trek on the high arid plateaus of the Massif M’goun, estives places of nomads and their herds. From Ait Bougumez valley, your tour begins by passing a first pass which reveals the Tarkedit tray with the M’goun backdrop. The ascent of this beautiful summit is optional, depending on your desires ! A beautiful route in the highest and wildest of the Central High Atlas.

Day 1: Airport-Marrakech Hotel

 Arrival at Marrakech airport then transfer and overnight in a Hotel or Riad.. If your hour of arrival allows it, beginning of the dynasty’s visit of the city of Marrakech and its curiosities.


Day 2: Marrakech -Ait Bougumez (1800 m) - Ikkis ( 2200 m)

 Departure early in the morning by minibus to Azilal, the Tizi-n- Oughbar, Ait Abbas and Ait Bougumez valley 4H30 drive. Arrived in the begining of the afternoon in Ait Bougumez valley and start hiking, climbing up the Arous valley to Ikkis sheepfolds. 2-3 hour walk


Day 3: Ikkis ( 2200 m) - Base Camp of M'Goun ( 2900 m )

 By a pass at 3500 m, you arrive in the highlands at the foot of M’Goun summit. The M’Goun massive is the most ancient Central High Atlas Massif. These important reliefs are cut by deep valleys and canyons. It is a region where a unique pastoral society has developed, which has preserved its traditions. 4 H 30 walk


Day 4: Ascent M'Goun ( 4067 m )- Oulilimt ( 2400 m )

 Early in the morning,  Climbing the M’goun summit. Then, following the ridge from the top, you go down to Aîn Oulilimt. The ascent to the summit is optional and less brave can go down along mule. Bivouac near Oulilimt spring. 8 hour walk


Day 5: Oulilimt ( 2400 m ) - Tighremt Ait Hamd ( 1900 m )

 Descent along the Oulilimt valley, on a path through the fairy chimneys. This descent is punctuated by the passage of the Small trays and sheepfolds, transhumance place of Ait Atta nomades. You pass by  M’goun spring “Ain Aflafal”  before joining your bivouac along the Wadi near M’goun collective attic. 6 hour walk


Day 6: Tighremt Ait Hamed ( 1900 m ) - Ait Imi ( 1850 m )

You leave Tighremt to start the steady climb towards the Tizi-n-Ait Imi (2905m). After this climb through a mineral landscape and a beautiful circular view of the massive M’goun, you descend towards Ait Imi amidst a forest of juniper. Bivouac near Ait Imi village and spring. 6 hour walk


Day 7: Ait Imi ( 1850 m ) - Timmit - Marrakeh

You retrieve Ait Bougumez valley. Passage in the fields to Tabant before joining the fortified granary of Sidi Moussa Then the village of Timmit. 2 hour walk and 4H30 route Back to Marrakech.


Day 8: Transfer Marrakech - Airport

Transfer to the airport ( 2 H before hour flight ) and fly to your country
