The High Atlas, 70 km from Marrakech, is dominated by Toubkal peaks (4167m) covered with snow. But it is also massive with many green valleys carved by humans, with their terraced fields and their high perches town  built from pise, which is a combination of stone and mud. During this trip you will spend few days with the Berber people of the Atlas Mountains and exploring their rich culture, life style and hospitality.

Day 1: Airport-Marrakech Hotel

Whatever your arrival time, day or night, home assured at Marrakech airport and Transfer to your middle class hotel. Free diner


Day 2: Marrakech - Imi -N- Oughlad - Imskar (1600m)

After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 9 am, 60 Km transfer to get to the starting point, meeting with our mules team and cooker. Here we begin the trek by crossing a 2000m pass and dropping down into the village of Imeskar. 1:30 walk to get guest house at 1600m, eat lunch on the site and explore the village in the afternoon.


Day 3: Imskar Village - Gliz (2300m)

 We ride on a mule trail across the small valley in the shadow of several huge walnut trees, an easy climb without technical difficulty, lunch stop at the Gliz village. We then continue gently up for a further hour or so to Ousrtik village (2300m), where we spend the night at the guest house. 5 h30 walk


Day 4: Gliz Village - Ouanskra ( 1900m)

 A short climb cross junipers forest to the Tizi Oukimden, panoramic view of the Ousrtek valley and peaks of the Toubkal at the distant then we go around the Oukimden mountain some rock carvings, lunch near the highest ski resort in Africa … And by the collar Addi (2900m) in the afternoon we descend to the Ouanskra village. Overnight at the guest house. 5h30 walk


Day 5: Ounskra Village - Imlil ( 1750m)

We begin this beautiful stage on an easy trail that runs from above the beautiful valley of Imnane at the foot of Akswale summit 3200m, panoramic view from all sides on the Imnane. Descent to  Imlil Village the Chamonix of Morocco, lunch stop at the lodge and free afternoon. Night in the same lodge (1800m). 4 h walk in the morning


Day 6: Imlil Village - Id Issa (1800m)

A beautiful varied stage, an easy climb by a mule trail until lunch stop at the neck Mazzik, panoramic view of Imlil valley. After crossing a small forest we encounter women who collect wood for cooking … discovery of the beautiful Azzaden valley. Overnight at the guest house in Id Issa village. 5:30 walk


Day 7: Id Issa Village - Imi-n-Oughlad ( 1500m)

We leave the prettiest Toubkal Valley Azzaden with its red mountains, green and gray by the collar of Taste 2200m to close our loop at Imi-n-Oughlad then transfer to Marrakech after a last lunch made by our cooker. Overnight at the middle class Hotel. 3 hours walk and 1 h30 Drive


Day 8: Transfer Marrakech - Airport

Transfer to the Airport 2 hours before departure time. We wish you a safe journey home and hope to see you again for a hike or stay in Morocco
